Optus MVNO Catch Connect will continue to operate following Wesfarmers' decision to shut down deals website Catch.com.au on April 30.
While Catch Connect is affiliated with Catch, it's owned and run separately from the main business. In a statement published on the Catch Connect website, the telco confirmed it won't be impacted by the closure.
"There will be no changes to your Catch Connect mobile services, and we will continue to operate as usual," said Catch Connect.
In the same vein, nothing has changed for new customers hoping to sign up.

Partner company Wesfarmers said it was shutting down the core Catch shopping business due to the "recent increase in competitivity intensity" in the local e-commerce sector. Foreign competitors like Temu, Shein, and Amazon have all grown in popularity in Australia over the years.
