If you're looking for a long expiry phone plan, Kogan is currently running a "buy one get one free" on its 365-day recharges. The plans included in this promo are as follows:
- Medium: 6GB, $299.90 - Works out to be $12.33 per 30 days, per person.
- Large: 16GB, $399.90 - Works out to be $16.45 per 30 days, per person.
- Extra Large: 23GB, $529.90 - Works out to be $21.78 per 30 days, per person.
These plans all include unlimited talk and text, and a data allowance resets every 30 days. For example, if you were to sign up for the 16GB plan, you'd have 16GB to use each month for those 12 months. The deal runs until April 30.
Once you purchase your 365-day recharge, you'll be emailed two vouchers to activate your plans, and posted two SIM starter packs. If you're an existing customer, you're able to use the voucher to recharge your current account. Each voucher must be redeemed by a unique customer, so you can't just save the second for next year.
If you can find a friend or family member to split the bill with, you'll get a pretty decent data-for-dollar deal. If you're looking at the 16GB plan for example, comparable options tend to start around $32 per month.
