The most exciting part about getting a new phone is reinventing your personality through your colour choice. And with the Samsung Galaxy S24 offering a number of exciting, and exclusive, options, your phone colour choice became just as important as your horoscope or Instagram bio.
This year, Samsung has released seven colours across the Galaxy S24 range, with three exclusive to the Samsung website. But wait, there is a key difference between the S24, S24 Plus and Ultra ranges you won't want to miss. Keep reading as we explore what it is.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Colours
As you can probably imagine, after Apple's Titanium launch last year, Samsung haven't strayed too far from the metallic path either. Offering up their own Titanium-framed versions for the S24 Ultra range and generic versions for both the S24 and S24 Plus models, you'll certainly be spoilt for choice.
Last year Samsung users were treated to a palette of muted, moody shades like Graphite and Cream and, somehow, even Lime, Lavender, Green and Red. But this year, with names like Cobalt Violet and Sandstone Orange, you would think this suggests vibrant statement pieces. And while there are Titanium versions, as mentioned above, it seems Samsung isn't trying to get lost in space like Apple but rather burn brightly through the dark void with a vivacious planetary glow. But do they nail it?
Much like last year, there are exclusive colour options if you purchase directly from the Samsung website, but there are just three to be exact.
Both the Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus models come in four colours when purchased from a telco:
- Onyx Black
- Marble Grey
- Cobalt Violet
- Amber Yellow
And for those wishing to explore the exclusive Samsung direct colour options, here are your choices:
- Sapphire Blue
- Jade Green
- Sandstone Orange
If you choose to purchase from the S24 Ultra range, the colours are renamed to reflect the Titanium frame added to the device. These are:
- Titanium Black
- Titanium Grey
- Titanium Violet
- Titanium Yellow
And for those wishing to secure an Ultra ultra exclusive shade, you can choose from:
- Titanium Blue
- Titanium Green
- Titanium Orange
And so, without further ado, here are the colour options available across all Galaxy S24 devices:
Black

Black is back and this year it's specifically Onyx Black. Onyx Black has a bit more character than you'd expect from a shade with an absence of light. It has a subtle yet moody gradient to it and looks very much like the lovechild of last year's Phantom Black and Graphite.

Grey

"Look at this distinguished gentleman". Marble Grey is as classy as the Samsung Galaxy 24 gets with its smooth finish resembling the fresh foam of a morning coffee or the first snow of the season. Marble Grey is a shade you'll cringe slapping a case over, so don't.

Violet

While Cobalt typically alludes to a dark blue, Cobalt Violet is a highly pigmented purple that's a step further than Amethyst but stops just shy of Plum. It's the kind of vibrant colour you expect to see on tropical flowers or exotic birds. It's not a shade of Purple you'll get bored of staring at nor will it go out of fashion too quickly.

Yellow

Yellow fans unite! Samsung have brought us a warm, sunny shade that promises to bring a smile to your dial without looking tacky like previous Gold versions.

Blue

When you picture Sapphire Blue typically you envision rolling ocean waters, precious gemstones in rich tones and mesmerising eyes. But this particular shade of Sapphire Blue is honestly underwhelming. There's nothing hypnotic or deep about it. Let's be real, it's a dreamy blue at best.

Green

Again Jade Green is supposed to be a luxurious, velvet couch or a smooth satin set of PJs. This is not that. Samsung's interpretation of Jade Green for 2024 looks eerily similar to last year's Lime shade. Ok let's be honest, it looks the exact same just with an attempted name rebrand.

Orange

Of all the colours, this one seems to be the only accurately named. It jumps off the screen at you with the intended out-of-this-world Saturn-like glow Sandstone Orange should have. It demands to be seen and certainly won't get lost in the bottom of your bag!
